Introduction
Up on Downs is committed to holding individuals’ data securely and accurately, we keep the minimum data that is required to keep the organisation running.
The Data
We collect and store personal and sensitive data about our members for use in managing the organisation and events this includes name, address, email address and child ages. Some medical information is also included. The data is reviewed periodically and updated as needed. Any data that is found to be no longer required either legally or for the running of the organisation is removed.
The Controller
We (Up on Downs) are the data controller for the data we collect and even in the use of 3rd party data processors retain the responsibility of data controller. The data collected for the organisation will be stored securely and used only for the purpose it was supplied for.
The Processor
We (up on Downs) process the collected data for the running of the organisation and for the distribution of the newsletter, this is processed within the organisation by our staff. Some processing requires the use of external partners who fully comply with current regulations.
Your Data
We store data about our members but the data remains the individual’s data. Data subjects can request the disclosure or deletion of their data. If a data subject’s details have changed then the subject should let us know so that we keep the information accurate and relevant.
