KIDS East & West HUB services offer information & support to the families of disabled children and young people across Hertfordshire.
Harvesters FC have joined up with DS Active to provide Hertfordshire children and young adults with Down’s Syndrome a fair and fun opportunity to get involved in football and sport.

A swimming club, founded in 1962, for anyone with a physical or mental disability. The club meets at Stevenage Swimming Pool every Sunday at 4 pm.
Based in Watford, Playskill is a charity which has set up a parent & child term-time group for pre-school children with special needs. It is run by a skilled team, including a physiotherapist, an occupational therapist and a speech & language therapist. The group welcomes families from Watford, Three Rivers, Dacorum, St Albans and Bushey. Playskill is now also running a pilot project in Hemel Hempstead.
Herts Inclusive Theatre
A theatre company, base in Watford and Bushey, that gives children and young people the opportunity to participate in dance, drama and music in an inclusive environment.
Runs all ability dance, theatre and arts projects all over Hertfordshire and the surrounding area.
Offers a range of services for anyone with a learning disability in South West Herts.
Hertfordshire Parent Carer Involvement
A parent led organisation originally created as part of the Government’s Aiming High for Disabled Children agenda, to get parents more involved in shaping and improving local services.
Special Olympics St Albans SOSA
SOSA is a branch member of the registered charity Special Olympics Great Britain. SOSA runs sports sessions for individuals with learning disabilities, age 6 years and upwards, in the St Albans region and aims to build confidence, self-esteem and skills levels.
Sea Lion Swimming Club
A swimming club, open to anyone of any age with a permanent or temporary disability. Family members are welcome to join in the swimming sessions. The club meets at Watford Leisure Centre Central on Saturdays between 5-6pm.
